passing loop

Hi. I've got a layout with a loop of track with a passing loop on one side. Is there a way for me to set it up so that if there is a train stopped on one track the second train in "drive" or "autopilot" mode will switch the points so it can drive past on the other side? so that it doesn't have to slow down for the signals before the loop.

The right signals and track direction.

Hi, I don't know what the right type of British signals that you will need. I just recently learned what the right signals are (after nearly a year of frustration). When you lay down the track the proper way is to lay it in the direction that you want the trains to run. This would mean it is better not to use the two track splines. If done correctly the AI's will swith the points correctly to pass.
