Painting program

Hi im wondering what is a good program for reskinning locos. Paintshed is fun but kinda limited. I made some nice prototypes but i got no where near what I really wanted to paint.

Any graphics editing package can be used. Paint.net is a good freeware one. For more information on reskinning, look at the trainz wiki: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Trainz

 

[Stagefright]

Phil Campbell has several tutorials at his World of Trainz site. There are a couple of good free alternatives to Photoshop; try Paint.net.

Paint shop Pro is also good - you may be able to pick up v7 or 8 somewhere. GIMP is another free option.

PSP XI has a nice colour changer feature and itsnot too bad on ebay.
