Painting in Trainz

Hi,
I've been working on a couple of routes in TS2009 over the past few months and was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on painting in Surveyor. When I paint the landscape usually looks unrealistic because the textures either look repeated, or it looks like a bunch of different colors of textures mixed together. How can I make my painted landscapes look realistic?

Rotate the brush by using the [ or ] keys. Hold one down while painting and it will rotate so you can get rid of the patterns, try and use different textures and blend them and or change size to get the effect you require. Takes a bit of practice but you should get there.

Try gentle taps of the mouse button when blending lots of colors together, in a mottled texture.

You can also cut, copy, paste, a custom blended texture area anywhere.
