OpenGL Problems

Hi guys,

When Trainz runs the diagnostic tests, OpenGL fails the test. Apparently the version is OpenGL 1.1.0? My graphics card drivers are fully up to date according to nvidia, the manufacturer and apparently it's not possible to update OpenGL via download.

I believe that OpenGL is main reason why I can't use Content Manager Plus in TRS2006, as all other methods to get it working have been attempted.

Can anyone suggest any fixes?

What graphics card do you have and what is the version number of the drivers you have installed?

Check Nvidia Control Panel, Advanced Settings, Manage 3D Settings, set Extension Limit to OFF

That's fine for running the game itself, not for CMP.
No idea what the graphics card is.. how do I find out? Currently working on changing the settings, not sure how yet.

Radeon 9200 SE Family
Radeon 9200 SEC Family
are the two listed in Device Manager.

Try the ATI site for driver updates. Do a search for radeon 9200, will bring up some update options.

There is your problem then, your trying to use Nvidia drivers with an ATI card. OOps .

I have an HP Laptop. Windows 7. AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250

The game works fine for me.

and to change the settings, launch trainz, click options, click the display tab, and check Directx
