At the moment work is halfway between Quarry Siding & Halt and Abergynowlyn(is that correct?), but due to 2 pages missing from the maps that I have, I've actually shortened the distance between QH and Abergynowlyn:D . Don't worry, a cleanup operation is underway (I'm gonna have to delete all of the trackage from Quarry Siding/Halt upwards, and redo it all - GRRRRRR!). But this has been a great experience for me (Now I can operate the railway - almost completely - from my PC on the other side of the world from the prototype, without going there OR becoming a member:D ) (HOWZAT?!!!!:D ). My page on my website WILL be updated in the near near near future with photos and more text.

when you start this let me know. I've attempted to make it in the past and may have some info you might find interesting. also I'd like to make my Mid sodor railway a connectible "attachment" for it, they did connect in the show by the way. I can't wait to see how you layout comes out!
I wonder what our good friend Kevmt is up to:confused: maybe Sir Haydn:eek: or Edward Thomas:eek:, and I'll think I'll make Tom Rolt... or try to... Google Sketchup is really easy to use to make 3D objects, but how to get it into trainz....:confused:

i've made some progress on my "Tattoo" loco for the TR, while its not exactly an Edward Thomas it'll do unitll Kevmt releases his and Sir Haydn:D
 
not to de-rail the topic but...
would you mind if i made the Aberglasslyyn Light Railway? i've been looking for another layout to build, but of course it would be completely different than yours...:D

Good news to all of you who wanted Skarloey, he has been released for Trainz today. He is on Magandy's website.

Most of the SR&RL stock were made by me so perhaps you should ask my permission as well. Anything with 44700: in the KUID is mine.

He has also made a Rusty model for trainz as well as a new slate car other than MstNoodle's. its a really interesting layout, and if you have TRS04 you can ask if he'll send it to you:D.

Not to be a glory hog, but I too have worked on something for the Island of Sodor. Along with Benk87 I am creating the narrow gauge railway the Mid Sodor Railway. This is the line that Duke,Smudger,Falcon (Sir Handel) and Stuart (Peter Sam) used to work. its not anywhere near done, its not really my main project right now.

I also know that a trainz version of Skarloey has been made, but sadly MstNoodle never released it. He also made Proteus, and I've heard about Mighty Mac, and possibly Fearless Freddie. None of these were released either.

Well, I felt like that, too. MSTNoodle, can you please release Proteus? I want that engine so bad.

the mid sodor railway is my project, and i never made a topic for it:hehe: oops...
i guess i should! its not anywhere near done, and it is mainly Benk87s work, not mine, i did all the scenery stuff...
 
i know heaps of the mid sodor railwayeven have a book that has nearly got all the pictures

I did make a model of Proteus though his face was not accurate, but sadly he never got released.

Sadly due to disagreements, I no longer have any of the models on my PC.

I know the last post was in 2008, but I would like to see how you're doing, because, well, we definitely need a full-Talyllyn route for Trainz, the A1 Talyllyn only going from Tywyn to Aberglynowen and it isn't entirely complete.
 
Im working on getting dolgoch and talyllyn working i have them in my trainz 12 but they are fualty i might change the build number to 2.9
