Old rolling stock?

Does anyone know where I can download some old (1850-1920) rolling stock? I'm really getting the hang of Trainz and my route is taking shape, but it's based on the early 20th century... and haven't really found that type or rolling stock on the DLS *prob my fault* I found the loco's (well I would like some electric ones if it's there, and I like to know how to electrify rail, but I asked this in my other thread.)

So basically I need heaps of coal or/and any other type of ore carriages and passenger ones.

Many many thanks in advance!:D

What country/region are you after?

If Australian, then there are some items around, with a few more in production. My VR Z class 0-6-0 is based on an 1890s era loco (note, version on the DLS may have issues, not sure - a new version is being worked on as well).

There's also a few items from the creator ad602000 IIRC, and a few others around.

For other countries, try 'pencil42', he's got some fantastic items. Also look up 'sub par productions', he's also got some good stuff (locos only though) :)

Thanks for the reply Zec, definately gonna check out the leads you've given me.:) I'm after US rolling stock, mainly because there is so much stuff to find and I always dreamed about having a fantasy style route in the US (couldn't get it done with my HO set;)).

Oh and gonna check out your stuff, looks nice.

I have LOTS of locos and rolling stock from 1850, together with signals etc of the period 1850-1890

Check out my website on the right hand side

Bendorsey has also done quite a bit of 1900's rolling stock - do a search on his name filtered by rolling stock. You can also get a fair amount of his passenger equipment by doing a title search for 'TOTC' (Turn of the Century). Make sure you have TRS2004 checked....
Fitz505 has some tank cars and reefers that should hit the tail end of your time frame (1920's).
Whitepass also has some cars on the DLS that fit that time frame.

There are a bunch of Pencil's 34ft wooden boxcars repainted and lettered for different period roads by me on the DLS. Make sure you chack the 2004 filter.

What about the Civil War era engines and rolling stock on the DLS? The General, Texas and Yonah, among other W&ARR stuff.
