Middle Eastern rolling stock question

I have a question for the rolling stock and loconotives from the middle east and north african countries like Morocco, Syria, Iran, Turkey or Saudi-Arabia. There are really for download or DLS existing or not??

You'll probably find they use rolling stock and locos from other parts of the world but repaint them in different colours. It's called reskinning.

To get you started grab KUID2:86627:100841:2 then in content manager clone it. Open the clone with content manager and look for a .tga file. Use paint.net or GIMP to make changes to the file then save it. edit config.txt file to change the username. submit edits, open preview or just have a look in surveyor. Paintshop Pro is nicer, and you'll need permission from the original creator unless it has a licence that permits it to upload it to the DLS.

paint.net and GIMP are free, paintshop pro has a colour changer feature that retains the detail better. paint.net from memory is the simplest.

Import the CDP into Trainz via Content Manager by dragging and dropping the CDP into the Content Manager screen.

You then need to find the imported asset and open the asset for editing in File Explorer by right-clicking and clicking on Open... and choosing that option.

Once you make your updates and changes, close the folder and submit the asset.

We do recommend cloning the asset so that you have the original in case you want to go back.

Which is why I suggested doing one of mine first, basically to get the process sorted out. Then tackle something more complex. What's the kuid you were trying to reskin, not all assets are easy to reskin.
