Well, I had my first shot at using the Surveyor editor yesterday.
(Enclosed is a short video of the end result) - :)

BTW. How do I create water/rivers etc in Surveyor?

Cheers.

Hi John, and T.M.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Fun for kids of all ages. :)

BTW. If anyone wants this zany (Trainz2004) route,
I'm happy to upload it to my webspace.

Cheers again (and thanks for the 'water' tip, John)

ROTFLMSAO! Great work!
Thanks NY.

I'd like to get this thread posted on the Screenshots forum, but
I'm unable to post there (I keep getting a message saying I dont have
enough privelages. Even though Ive put in my serial number).

So if anyone would like to link this thread to the screenshots forum,
I'd be obliged.

Cheerz.

OH! I am scared to even ride in those engines......... my manlihood just washed away. i need a break! wait, this engines has one doesn't it? IT DOESNT??!?!?!? GAAAAAAHH!

Nice work TinTrain. Love the video, and great idea for a layout. I suggest you keep a back-up of it, as you get more skills in surveyor, you can upgrade it later. :) You'll be surprised with how much fun making a layout like this is, then looking back and updating it in a years time.

The thing is the creator of this route is learning, he was trying things. What he was doing is the best way to learn.

When you start making proper routes, in about 12 months time, you can look back and say look how far I've come.:D

Thanks TinTrain, I had some good laughs and hopefully that was your intention.

I found the video a good counterpart to all the prototypical and serious routes one is working on. For beeing a first route - why not...
