Hi all. You may notice that in some of my posts there are no spaces between the lines, and that is because the forums will not accept my "Enter" key. AMTZ, TCR, Railroadfan, and almost all of the other forums will, but "Enter" doesn't seem to apply here. Does anyone know what causes this?

Known issue - if you are using Internet Explorer, turn on compatibility mode. This can be found as an icon to the right of the address bar.

That's normal. Compatibility mode in Internet Explorer does make things not look as pretty, but it does fix some layout and keyboard-related issues.

Enter key problem solution.
There is a setting for this on the forum, go to:
"Settings" in the Forum banner at the top of the screen:
then "My Settings" in the panel on the left,
then under "My Account" - "General Settings",
Towards the bottom of that screen is "Miscellaneous Options" from here click on the "Standard Editor" then "Save" settings.
Using this method you do not affect other web pages that were working correctly before turning on compatibility mode in IE
