I seem to be having a problem when using Trainz Objectz to find missing rolling stock parts. I also have Trainz Classics 1-3 installed, besides TRS2004 & 2006 plus TS09, all on the same hard drive, and they appear to work individually, very well indeed.

But one problem I seem to have, is that if I use Trainz Objectz to find missing rolling stock parts as I said above, once it's done, I'm in the window where I can choose to look on the DLS for parts that've been determined as faulty. I do this, and get all the stuff found into the Download Cart, but once I choose to download all this stuff, the CMP screen pops up, from Trainz Classics, and I'ce set the settings in TRS2004 to install downloads from the TRS2006-type download helper, to TRS2004 only as far as I know. The normal download station screen, with the large-ish icon pictures, when I select items from there, it certainly does bring up the download helper, and lets me install everything to TRS2004 without any problems, but when I do what I described above, it always opens the CMP window, and won't install anything to TRS2004, but they tend to go to Trainz Classics 3. How do I correct this ? Help appreciated.

Hi dx5517,

This problem has been well documented in these forums. What you need to do is place a shortcut to the 2004 trainzhelper on your desktop, open the shortcut each time you want to download to 2004, check the path entry, then click save.
This will reset your downloads to the TRS2004 directory. Each time you load another version of trainz the download path will change to that version so you will have to repeat the above to reset it to TRS2004.

Cheers,
