NZ pics

Hi all,
As you may know wellington has had its share of earthquakes. The railway (all the lines in fact) were closed for just iver a day leaving some trains stranded until the lines were open. I do recall FP/FT4495 being stranded on the wellinton waterfront. I felt the quaoe in wgtn city and there was rattling for 18? Seconds on end. Very scary! Luckily no fatal accidents reported.

Good Luck and Best Wishes,

Thanks Fender,
I was very lucky with the quakes. Where else was I but on the AK carriages themselves when the first one hit on Friday! First journey on the train since it was The Overlander. We had to stop at Levin so the track ahead could be checked, but we weren't waiting for long at all. I came back yesterday, so missed all the big ones.

Glad to hear no major injuries!

Looking forward to trying those ADK/ADB DMU's Cam, Just what i need for my next project.
Tell me though, was that an EF i saw in your last picture?

Cheers Jamie :D

Hi caleb_s,

Great to see you back again. That's a nice looking loco but tell me, have you given up on the J and JAs you said you would have a look at one time?

Cheers,

Derelict DJ Loco

This derelict DJ loco model is a low poly, low detail build, intended for static scenery. However, it is not totally "brain dead" and can be moved/towed by another loco to a new location. It comes with my new DJ Set of 3 x driveable loco's. Watch for my announcement in "Fenders NZR Payware" in the next week or so. Cheers.
