Know the different between
Concrete Bridge ...
Inter Crossing Concrete Bridge ...
The Inter Crossing Concrete Bridge track has no 3rd rail so you may use these to have track cross from one side to the other ... plus these between the Concrete Bridge.
ALSO, when collecting the tracks, etc to the panels use the SHIFT keep -- the panels acts like invisible tracks, etc ...

Naming Stations
Hi ish,
I'm unable to name any of the station objects, like with Jeff's previous ones. Am I doing something wrong or are they not re-nameable? The black station name signs remain blank even though I clicked on the "?" and typed in the station name.

Hello,
I'm afraid I had to removed that feature to be able to implement the night mode version into the config file -- I tried to keep both, but the night mode feature wasn't working with the rename features -- no matter what I did both features wasn't working -- I had to change the con fig file to have the night mode working right! However, I have an idea that can help this out but it will require the creator for any MTA route to take an extra step -- I can make signs, wit the same texture to match, that can be place up against the sings on Jeff's station -- these signs will be a bit bigger and longer, for long names -- I'll have the default item at 5 meters tall which is by default the height of the stations!
I'll experiment, and see how it looks, how easy and quick the signs can be place, etc ...
BTW - there's about 10+ items, and I'll be all done -- after that I'll be in the monorail thread, updating that package!

Route Platform Signs

Thanks for the clarification on that. I thought I was going bananas! :hehe:
I was wondering if you could maybe make a blank sign that could be re-textured so that one could modify the route designations at their stations. It would look something like this:
I would like to make my route as realistic as possible. Could you make it a wide sign, to be able to fit all that information?

Sure, what I can do is make different sizes, height and long-wise, in black, with the letters in white! You can then re-texture it and upload under your own kuids -- all I ask is that you place a footnote that you gotten permission to reskin from me, that's it.
Also, if it's okay with you, I would like to take the sign you have there, and make different signs -- an idea just occurred to me that you and other MTA fans might like!
Lastly, if you have any other signs, etc please this is the time to speak, because I am almost done with this project, and sometimes it's hard to revisit when I am done with something -- so, guys, any questions, suggestions, whatever ... speak now! LOL:wave:
BTW - if you guys have any signs ready just e-mail me -- I should start on the signs Saturday morning!!
Well, that's it guys -- note -- I might not read any posts til tomorrow -- time to shut down the PC for the day!!

There are only 2 items left to upload, however, a few things came to mind that will increase this package! Besides doing the signs (read post above this), I decided to make some more pieces -- this came about when working on my custom MTA map (no scenery but track work) that I discovered a few things are needed to make sessions a bit enjoyable, and item that make sense! If you have started using these pieces don't worry, the extra stuff can easily be plug in -- when these items are done and uplaoded, you will see how much complete the package will be! :hehe:

More Subway Signs
Hey Ish,
For the other subway signs, I was thinking that we could work on making the following signs to make the subway package REALLY awesome. I will work on the textured signs tonight for you, and send them via e-mail tomorrow. Since you're the GMaxer, I don't mind the KUID credit on the DLS going to you, as long as I get mentioned for the textures!
Here's what I mean:
NYC Sign Signals
But I would only want to do the "T", "ST", GT", "R 10", "4 Car" and "D 15" signs.
I am still working with BStyles on ST & GT signals and combo signals.
We could do increments from 10-45 mph for the ST & GT signs, the R resume sign goes from 4-10 cars by twos, and the same with the "4 Car" sign (4-10, and also an S and OPTO-S). And we could do a D 13, D15, D20 and D25 sign.
I think that'd be awesome. We could do to variations. Ones for outside sections and ones for inside sections (a little higher up so they can be "affixed" to the tunnel walls at the same height as Magicland's signals).

Hey A,
I have noticed that you have done some textures and reskin stuff from the DLS! So, since you know what you're doing, this is what I am going to do --I'll create the mesh, with a blank texture -- I'll send that to you via e-mail later today, and you can do as many signs as you wish, LOL ... Just notice that I did the original mesh as you did for magic stuff, etc ... also, post some screenies here for us to see! :wave:
Lastly, I am going to add many different sheds for the MTA fleet cars, etc so stay tune for screenies for those!!

Since there are 200 pieces, and that can be difficult to go through them, etc etc .... this is a solution that has helped me ---
Open a web page, and go to the DLS ---there type X-elevated, press enter, and all of my MTA kit will be display over 2+ pages ... you can then reference form there, as you mini-trainz, etc .... faster and easier to locate objects, etc ...
