I doubt you'll see the Second Avenue Subway project. They were supposed to construct it when the R11's were arriving, not now, when they're long gone. :o
I have seen the Second Ave Subway, but there are no tracks in the tunnels. Its just empty tunnels, but the first leg should be done around 2012 or so.

They are not maintaining them well and several sets are out of service. There are often several R142 sets at 207th Street shop, they don't belong there unless they need major repairs.

How many miles they can go b4 breakdowns.

~LONG LIVE THE R142A~

@N train R160,R32's don't have LCD signs. The only trains that have LCD signs are the NTT.(R44,R46Overhauled,R110A,R110B,R142,R142A,R142S,R143,R160A,and R160B)

I thought R42's and R40's are retired
(I saw an R42 on the J line while crossing the williamsburg bridge, and on nycsubway.com it says r40's are still in service)
:)

*The R32s do NOT have LCD signs. These cars were built over 30 years ago. Do they look like they are capable of LCD systems? I know you're not about to tell me, the person who has rode the R32 all his life that they have LCD signs.:n::n:

*The R40s and R42s are being reefed as we speak. They are still running on the A, J, Z, and B lines, but not for long.

*The only reason the brakes squeak is because the repair crew refuses to change them. I don't know why. You can't hate an entire line just because of the trains that run on it.
