NYCTA! pics!

The custom rollsigns were photoshopped. You go into the rollsign kuid, open them in photoshop, then replace the rollsigns (I used the ones from BVE, Boso View Express, another freeware sim). For the ones that aren't passenger enabled, find the kuid, open the body folder, and locate two files: endsign, and sign01. Those are the rollsigns, edit them. But, you'll have to create a new kuid for every different rollsign. The HUD is the MC Custom HUD, I found it on the DLS. That door command is load passengers, if I remember. Thanks for the shoutout, look for more videos coming soon.

I can't take waiting anymore!

Why do we have to wait for the R1 to Hit the download station? (Other than waiting for it approved) Even a beta version would be better than nothing. The R40 I can understand - but not the R1. :n:

You have to wait because the creator (Magicland) does not want to release it yet. Sometimes the more you bug a creator about releasing items the more time it will take. When he released the subway construction set, it was over 2 YEARS since it was first anounced. Freeware items usually take a long time to come out because they are being made for free, meaning that there is no rush on them. If you really want to know why its not out yet, maybe you should email magicland and ask him.

Yes, email. I don't want to send another PM to him because I've sent him 2-3 of those. :o

@freaghtcar2: sadly the R30's have been long retired since 1993(15 Years ago):( :'(

@matted33: I have updated the route textures on the R46 to 1979 routes and destinations.

Until I realised the "F" was a route, I always thought the white "F" on the red background on the R40S was some kind of commercial. :p :o :hehe:

Ok so I have gotten back to Trainz for a little bit as it seems there might be more subway content on the way. An way here are some shots on my subway line that is based off the A, C, and E lines.
Here is a work train entering the "yard" north of 207th Street.
Subway1.jpg

A view of the "yard" looking south. The walled off trackways would have been if 207th Street was an express station and not a terminal.
Subway8.jpg

The work train entering the far left lay-up track.
Subway2.jpg

Here the T/O must enter the road bed to take down the flagging. The far end of the yard is for work trains only.

A view from inside a layed-up R40.
Subway5.jpg

Looking north you can see what was ment to be a temp. wall (back in the 1930's when construction was stopped).

Thats it for now, more to come later.

Great shots!!! I can't wait for Magicland to release his R1 & R40S. I need to download his R62, then his R33 Redbird Subway Car 2 (What is the significance of that?) and then wait for his R1 and R40S to drive through the NYC and drive into the "Download Station Sheds". :hehe:
