I use paint.NET for my reskins
I updated the r160 since also btw, here's what it looks like right now
not my best but I dont plan on perfecting it or releasing it because bstyles is making an r160 and r142

Even if Jeff left that does not mean it's a free for all -- It's always best to get the author's permission, unless he or she says otherwise in the config file, in other words ... if it clearly states in the config file that you can reskin.... etc etc etc ...
Now, Jeff is a great guy, and I have reskinned his works a few years back, so I am sure he'll will say "yes" ... still, reach out to him and get his blessings ... it's just a good habit to get into, you know, just reaching out and getting the author's permission -- If, at any case, you can't reach him then I think you should not release it, unless again his license in the confgi file says so ...
Bottomline, this discussion has been discussed and debated, til one day Auran passed guidelines on this, saying One cannot upload to the DLS unless you get the author's permission, inclduing reskinned, etc!
All in all, reach out to Jeff, if you have not done so already -- like I said, Jeff is a great guy and it's 99% that he will say yes!

That's a nice R160 have you tried working on getting the LCD to show up, cause I see in the photo that there's no LCD Display

OMG @Nuerco you were right I changed my password and it worked I got into the Download Station & I was able to get onto the Auran Website thanks for your help you've been right all along
I never said I was going to release it without his permission I never even said I was going to release it at all

I couldn't put a NYCTA plate on it because of the way the textures are mapped. unfortunately it gets tiled across the entire car, maybe jeff can fix that but I dont want to be a bother.
