NYCTA! pics!

Hmmm...Very impressive

Very impressive tunnel ExpressLine3Train! Acelejalde, Bstyles, and Expressline3Train's combined work seems to have led to the creation of an amazingly well-detailed NYCTA Simulation! :)

Stations/Signals

Thanks for the kind words Eric and Josu99! It's always nice to get positive feedback.

Just to let everyone know--I have released 8 new signals for NYCTA, these are "overhead" signals that you see on right-hand platforms in subway/at-grade and el stations. Head on over to the "Freeware Announcements" section of the forums and click on the link to download. With the exception of the timer signals being worked on jointly by Retro00064 and myself, and 3 or 4 more left-handed signals for local platforms, the signals package seems to be completed. Now, as always, I am open to any suggestions that would add more signals to the package--as long as it's a legitimate request that can be done. Next up--NYCTA Signs/Signals. This one should be a breeze--expect some screens later!

To answer Josu99, of the 24 station spline configurations I am working on, all but 10 of them are finished. BStyles is doing the config file coding for me, while I am working on the raw models. These will be tested extensively in game by the both of us to make sure there are no errors. I just got over a nasty spring fever bug that put me out for a week--so in the next few days (I'm still taking it easy), I will ease my way back into cranking out the stations. Not to mention, I am working on custom BART system content, and custom Phoenix, AZ light rail content in addition to NYCTA---so there will be delays in the project as I move around. I will keep everyone posted on progress!

I like this route very much (Excuse me if I spell wrong, I use Google trainslate)! But your stations, is it buildings or track objects (like signals) in Trainz?

If you want to see our Swedish stations, search at subway-station or compudoc at DLS. Some other stations is vastra-skogen (Västra skogen - Western forest), kristineberg (Kristineberg) and fruangen (Fruängen - Lady Meadow). Our Swedish subwaysystem is built in Trains as Tunnelbana preview by SVoyager and compudoc, I recommend much! And test C20 v1.4!
Here are some pictures at C20!

Simply amazing work on the NYCTA. I must say, this is very accurate and better than most subway routes I've ever seen (No offense.). This has got to take the cake on the best project ever!

Gaps have been fixed on the 1T and 1T One Wall subway stations/end pieces:

1T One Wall station--used here to simulate an "off-center" station:

Since the A & B Division Cars are different widths, calculating the overhang to close the gaps was challenging...I did get it right up to the B-Div cars, but there is still a teeny gap for the A Division, but not enough to cause a fuss. I think you'll agree.

Now, because of the gap issues, all of the stations have to be re-done in skp and in gmax. So, let's celebrate 2 sets of stations/objects successfully in game. Now I've only got 22 sets to go!

Oh, and in addition to the 16 that were listed before, after some research 8 more configs have been added to the list:

1T Abandoned Station
2T Abandoned Station
3T Abandoned Station
4T Abandoned Station
(^local station set ups)

2T Abandoned Station #2 (1) Old South Ferry Loops, one abandoned platform, one "in-service"
2T Wide Station- Classon Av on the (G) inspired this. Basically a 3T with no middle track and double pillars...but since it's only using 2T, it's 2T! Will feature a different paint scheme than its 3T cousin.

And two more 4 Track Versions:
4T Island #2 Station (1)(2)(3) 96th St
4T Island #3 Station (J)(Z) Chambers St

They look similar, but they aren't!

Next up--we are finishing the 1T stations! New 1T Bypass and 1T Abandoned Stations will be shown tomorrow night!

Enjoy!
