NYC subway Route

Ok guys I don't think he is going to post shots of his route. But asking and asking and asking for pics won't help nor work so how about we lay low on asking for pics and when jeff is ready to post pics he will do so.

The entire NYCTA subway system is completed except for yards. I'm working on Staten Island Railway which has one more station to be done.

NYCTA Subway Stations Released!!!!

Here they are finally---my set of NYCTA Subway Stations! There are several CDP files to download, because pushing them all together was somewhere around 60 MB, and I know not everyone has blazing fast internet. So I broke them up into three separate ones. The 1-4 Track models work as splines with the ends built in. The 6T models work the same as Magicland's original stations, with end object pieces, and the spline for the station length. This was done because splines with more than 5 tracks couldn't be done prior to TS12.

Also, the bench, garbage can and exit stairs have been included as objects as well as the pillars and pillars with roofs. I've also included the CDPs for my new and improved signals (overheads included) that use BVE coronas I've gotten as part of the Signals pack for OpenBVE. As per the read me, credit for the coronas goes to TJay1724 over on the BVEStation forums. Without his work, my signals would not look as (pardon me) bad-ass as they do! :hehe:

The final .cdp file is the 3m Russian subway track that you must have for the subway stations splines.

Enjoy, and any feedback is welcome!

My next little project are open-cut stations for Brighton/Sea Beach/Dyre, and repeater/wall signals.

Well, it's about time ! LOL Just kidding !

Awesome ! Been waiting for these for quite some time, came back just to find there out. See ? When you stop asking for stuff, they come faster (Sort of)

I'll be testing these out in both TS2010 and TS12 and I'll let you know if there's any issues which I bet there won't due to all the time and effort you put into theses...

Thanks ace ! Good luck with the rest of your work and I look forward to your next release ! Keep up the amazing job !

Thanks bro! The only minor issue was some of the Do Not Enter signs facing the wrong way, mostly on the start portions, where I had to flip across the Y axis in Sketchup. I just flipped the photos in the folders, so if you look at some of the start folders, the dne.bmp picture is backwards--no worries!

Do test them out--my entire system is about 35% done, and looking at these all day, it's hard for me to spot potential problems.

Impressive. Seeing as how I have to write some essays and what not I will not have the pleasure of working with this for a while. I'll keep looking out for that route your working on, which I wish you luck with. From what I saw this looks like a spectacular job! Never give up acelejalde. I admire your tenacity.
Eric :)

:udrool::udrool::mop::mop::mop::mop:Thank you! Your work is greatly appreciated by me. :Y:

Thanks guys!

I know that you two who I'm quoting above and aking4125 are not nitpickers---so I really appreciate the kind words! I respect your opinions and feedback and thank you for your support. Please, if there is anything I can do to improve the stations, let me know. Don't be afraid to point out any flaws--you guys don't seem to be foamers.

P.S. I got permission from Jeff Morris to re-texture and re-release his stations. I know Ish6 did this with the el stations---but I found out something when tinkering with Jeff's stations---his works aren't simplistic--they're actually really impressive. The only thing missing is realistic textures. After re-working some of his open-cut stuff for my Sea Beach/Brighton lines..wow. I might not even do my own renditions because Jeff's are awesome with the right textures placed on them!

Andres_Nunez, My new NYCTA subway system is for TS12 because that version supports bridges/tunnels with six or more tracks. If you don't have TS12, buy it. If you don't want to buy TS12, it's not my problem.

Now, I'm updating my NYCTA subway content such as stations and tracks.

Is there a way to backdate it?

Manhattan bridge looking better than before. hahaha.

The bridge is being reworked to lower the count on polys so yea, I will get that done with color and details. For the Tunnels I can't promises when it will be out but im giving a guess of next month so yea. Sorry for the long wait. I know it sucks waiting.

You are being to hard on the people that like the NYCTA system Jeff. Ease up a bit alright.

susanaes, The bridges and tunnels with six or more tracks won't work in TRS2010 and older versions. If you don't want to buy TS12, it's not my problem.

ExpressLine3Train, The Manhattan bridge will turn the fastest computer into the slowest computer.
