hello again:

its time to update my graphics drivers. question is I thought trs06 does not like drivers update? I could be wrong here. my concern is what if I did update my drivers and trs06 does not like it, can I some how go back to the original drivers that came with the graphics card this will be the first drivers update in a year. or would the new drivers will have something like radio buttons actually click on to go back to the original drivers?.

I would like any info on this please and if I have questions I will post them here

Generally do not know what all the fuss is about with Driver updates. I have always allowed auto updates for all my Drivers. Never had any problems. anyway one can always uninstall and reinstall.

It's an option available when you install the drivers. You can then use the update option in the Nvidia Control panel or just wait until it tells you, you can also opt to be informed about Beta drivers.

I use to update to the newest driver but learned that is not the way to go. If your driver is working o.k. don't change it. I'm using TRS2006 on Vista-GT430 Video Card-285.62 driver and works fine. According to Nvidia, they say:

How often should I update my graphics card display drivers?
The general rule of thumb for graphic card display drivers is "if it ain't broken, don't fix it".

I am with you. Many times with flight sims, I updated drivers and then had all kinds of problems. This is when the original driver was working fine. Some folks have the motto,.." Keep fixing it till it breaks"......

You should always uninstall the old drivers before you install the new ones,, never install over the top of other drivers ,, does not matter if it is Nvidia or AMD graphic cards don't do it. if the new drivers don't seem to work as good as the old reinstall the old after uninstalling the new ones. this is why manual installs are better than auto install. Auto will not always uninstall all of the driver old or new
