NS work diesels

One of the odd diesels in the game are the NS series. particularly, the 200 series. The controls are on the outside, I have found the throttle and the brake lever, Having problems with the reverser lever... can't get the damn thing to go forward... I am driving the 263 or something. it is the one with the crane. Anyone know what I should do?

Just found out that it is nicknamed Sik, which means goat.
