NS Pittsburgh Sub (Large Pics)

Well, I don't know squat about the route, but

these folks have learned the price for parking in wet concrete!

I really like the distant smoky mountains textures effect, far away in the background, in comparison to planting 40 million billion trillion trees ... Mezzaprezzo has done this use of texture gradual fading (light to dark) technique using very few trees.

The screenshots look absolutely fantastic, and truely capture the real feel of Johnstown. I don't get down there too often ... and when I do I usually railfan from atop the mountain at the Johnstown Incline Plane with my 30 x 80 binoculars.

Euphod, something i picked up in trainz is that if you use press shift and then drag cars up and down it will go at a smaller scale so it won't seem like that...unless those objects can't be lifted? (doubtful...)
Anyway, this is an incredible route i wish you good luck on it :)
Eric :)

Amazing route - congrats - i am also from Australia - Victoria!

I would love to know where you get your trees from (i am newish to trainz)?

Thanks!!

Sounds good, can't wait. BTW, it will be freeware, right? Just wondering... ;)

An announcement will be made about that further down the track

I know, theres a massive sign just out of the shot that warns them of it and everything!

Sure, go 4 it mate. But would u mind getting rid of the code in ur quote thou? Just so the guys with slow internets dont get bummed out:)

Cheers, Rich

That lamborghini in your second pic looks like it would fit well in a route i'm doing. Did you get it from the DLS?
Eric :)
P.S. You're Doing an AWESOME Job!
P.P.S. Glad I could help with the elevation thingy. I figured it out only recently! I'm a bit slow with trainz. Got the game in '06 and didn't realize there were forums until '09 :hehe: Hope it helps!
P.P.P.S. holding shift and the rotator key thingy makes objects go slanted....not sure how that helps, but thought you ought to know ;)

Thanks guys:) First two pics are just north of Johnstown, how does the texture work in the background? I think i might only scenic about 50 m trackside and see what the frames are like after that.. Cascades right, there are so many trees! Also hundred of stored tankcars around the area as well.. should be interesting!

Looking great! Iv'e been following this thread for quite sometime, and I must say this route is incredible. :D Keep up the great work!

See ... I told you that Mezzoprezzo's way of texturing distant backgrounds works out great !

I first noticed this super texturing technique, with a lack of trees, on JRFolco's Cumberland to Connellsville route.
