NS Pittsburgh Sub (Large Pics)

Very nice shots, the last one especially. I've been wondering though if anyone else thinks the larger locomotives are beginning to look "out of scale" on some routes? I've noticed other screens that appear this way, (by different members), and the last shot here is on the border with me?
I'm NOT saying they are out of scale, mind you, perhaps it's only my perception...

Well, considering that the 80MAC is a BEAST of a loco! Anything else out there looks dwarfed next to it. Ever see a photo of a GP9 next to an SD70ACe? It looks like lunch for the new boys. I'm sure all the JR content is exactly to scale - it's just that today's locos are downright huge!

it sure is a massive loco:) i donno to be honest Euphod, i do know that Justin gets the measurements dead accurate, maybe its the bridge, the railings look a little low..

if u check this photo out, the locos and wagons also seem to dwarf the buildings (well to me they do anyway)

I'm not calling the dimensions of the loco into question, I'm just saying that the routes that have been made now seem "too small", such as seeing a 6 axle locomotive on a line designed for 4 axle prime movers.:)

Perhaps the engine specs need to be tweeked ?

I have had great fun on my route with the steep grade, and constant/frequent train stalls.

Usually I have to put @ 10 locos head end, and 4 more pushing.

Driver seems to take less locos, vs Cab mode which requires locos

Thanks Andy and Joe- should have put taken with permission in brackets! I got an all access pass:hehe:
btw joe, did u get my PM i sent a while back?
Havn't been to the horseshoe in a while :)

Done a fair bit of work around Lilly, a manifest as it passes thru the town
