NS Pittsburgh Sub (Large Pics)

(After much consideration I have decided to announce this route as payware, I think this is appropriate and I hope you can all see that too in the work that JR and i will have put into this):) So this presents me with two options:
Try to get in contact with Paul and ask him if he'll make an exception. No idea if he will or not, or even how i can contact him.
or...
Start again from scratch using a more detailed DEM map created by JointedRail.
Option 2 is a real bummer but is looking like the more likely...
Hmmm, and i thought Trainz was easy, lol

What about making it donationware?

Or release this version as is or let someone else finish this copy of the route. I was looking forward to this being FREEWARE and be able to have a great route for free. But its up to you just, why throw away the orginal and not let some else with the experience finish it. Then you will have a FREEWARE and a PAYWARE version. Just my 73 cents.:p

We shall see.....

And that pic with the gas station in it...totally South Fork.

Your welcome buddy I've showed this thread to my friends who don't play trainz and they said they couldn't believe the detail put into this route. I personally look forward to seeing the new screenshots you post!

I don't know why you would think that the thread would not go over well ?

The Horseshoe Curve is the Mecca of all railfans (I don't know why exactly). Some travel from as far as E Germany, (just to see a schtoopid bend in the RR tracks, with a 4 hour lull of no trains whatsoever)... (then just as they leave & drive away, there is a deluge of 11 trains in 2 hours).:hehe: I have seen droves of Menonites in native garb, with horses, (I guess they all rode the "Horse & Buggy" to see the "Curve").:hehe: I don't think the Amish are railfans though, as they shun modern culture and inventions.

Whee ... Dares Someting Wrong, Dares Schmoke In De Car !

Yeah, i come across that thread a couple of times actually, looks good. Although i dont think ive seen an update while ive been on the forums. Did u ever get around to releasing it? How are the frames with all the trees in place?

Pennsylvania means (William) Penn's woods. That's what Western PA looks like.:hehe: Currently I am modeling Johnstown. The route runs fine for me but I am using a HP Z800 workstation designed for engineering simulations. This route is not for your average laptop nor is it done. Probably take a few more years of WIP. Currently I am working on the west end of Johnstown on the long forgotten Morrellville yard by the wire mill.
