NS Pittsburgh Sub (Large Pics)

If this is a Freeware Route, I'd really like to see my Version II UltraTrack ( Kinky probably suit you ) being used.

You'll have much more variety, a custom made mesh, and better textures.

UltraTrack Version II does not have LOD but has the same performance as the UltraTrack Version II with LOD. I also in my Freeware Post of UltraTrack Version II gave permission for Freeware Route Usage.

Nice route scratchy, I am looking forward to runing it. That JR SD80MAC looks great and right at home as well.

PereMaruette1225fan: NS still has all thier SD80MACs, and all are in service exept one that blowed its prime mover about a month ago. There are plans at the moment to rebuild this one. CSX did sent all thier SD80MACs to South America.

I don't csx sent their macs away I thought I saw one here a couple of days ago

Pshaw! Exams! Who needs 'em! We need Trainz routes!! :hehe:

Seriously, keep up the great work (when you have time). This route looks GREAT and I can't wait to try it out when you release it. I spent a lot of time in West Pennsylvania growing up on the Conrail Mon Line, and this definitely has that Pennsylvania "feel" to it.

School (and moving) (and work) (and.....) (and....) has majorly stalled my work on my own Mon Line route, so sadly, I know the feeling well.

I know it has been said before, but it is strange how some of the best US route builders are "down under". Patiently waiting for more.....

Woah man! Sweet route! I'm just amazed, really digging it, and looking forward to more. Sure do wish I could make even my terrains look as great as yours. Keep it up buddy!

That really does look like the West portal of the Portage Tunnel (the summit of the -1.36% "Slide").

The UK bullhead track has great looking high detail, but in the US there are no vertical track support blocks. Most of todays Pittsburgh line track uses wooden sleeper with Pandrol Clips.

Does RTS track work in 09/10/12 ?

the RTS tracks does work in TS 2009,2010, as for TS12,however,they will display a yellow warning exclaimation mark which concerns the build number and a thumbnail container which should not be a problem to solve.;)

Thanks Cascade, yeah I realised that but really, whos gonna notice that at the moment! If i ask nicely I don't think it would be too hard to get the team at JR to sort me out with some prototypical track to use a bit later on. Lol

It's looking great man! NS ( nor CR really) ran trains UP the slide as it was too steep of a grade for most things. Its more or less the alternate way "down the hill" if they dont want to route a train via the Gallitzin tunnels. I think I've seen someone say they have only heard of one train going up there in recent memory.

Might be one of those things to just set directional markers on to be DOWN only.

No worries on the content bro... We'll set you up! You have a long ways to go on the route yet and I'm planning (hopefully) to get out to Altoona for a weekend in the next couple months to get you some pics of things.

This route is awesome, how far west are you planning to go? Will this be for trs2006 or trs2009? Its looking amazing, it makes me feel like I'm really there. Will this have a lot of dependancies? Thanks for doing this route!

I'd like to see a Conrail MAC and a Conrail SD60m in a lash up
Should be coming to a screen near you very soon mate:)

Thanks, I'm gonna head as far as Johnstown, so that comes to a distance of around 50km of triple track mainline awesomeness. As for which version- stay tuned, there's heaps of things that have to be decided before i can give a definite answer.

I don't even think the creator of the DEM on my 10,000 baseboard PRR Horseshoe Curve route would permit his DEM to be used as payware.
