"Insert Pics of Scratchy's amazing ability to turn real life into simulation"

Now that is cool!!! Amazing how you can take a real pic and make it exactly the same in the game!!

I am sorry guys, I did not mean for it to sound rude in any way, and I realize that it was after going back. I also realize how annoying it is when people quote pics. I edited the post to remove the images and insert a quote instead. Won't happen again trust me.

One guy from Yahoo Groups Altoona Johnstown, his band of brother railfans traverse the East & West Slope, chasing trains, up and over the mountain. They catch the same train in 4, or more locations, each day (Whoo Hoo, here's a shot of the G10 in Johnstown, Southfork, Cassandra, Cresson, Brickyard, and Altoona). Must be a special type of "NYC trash train" to take so many pictures of it, in so many same locations. The local cops know the railfans, who chase these trains everyday, escorting the trains up, and over the mountain. (Train crew conversation in Johnstown): "Isn't that that same guy, we saw down in Altoona, and the same guy we saw 3 times last week, chasing our train ... what gives with that" ?

The other month, in foul dreary rainy/snowy weather, the police radio reported: "Man on the 17th street bridge, with a rifle". The entire Altoona City police force, Blair County Police, and PA State Police force, turned out to surround a lone railfan, dressed in a trenchcoat, with a pipe sticking out from under his coat. With dozens of sidearms drawn, they shouted: "Put down the weapon".

As it turns out, the weapon was an expencive 35mm camera monopod (that looked similar to the barrel of a weapon). The man did have a LTC a personal sidearm (which wasn't loaded), and he was let to go on his merry Altoona Johnstown railfanning adventures that day. I think he had brown pants on ... that were not brown earlier that same day.

Great screenshots, Scratchy !

Sounds like Dan Valentine...

I think you mean he who shall not be named Yutzk. :hehe:

I have a picture from a local(ish) grade crossing where the "No Trespassing" signs are indeed directed at Mr. Valentine himself.
