Cheers Matt, its actually such a faff to take these aha, have to get a single loco to ghost the train im photographing on a parallel track and use its cab to zoom in and take the screenshots, then race ahead to get in position for the next shot. I feel its well worth it thou :) makes it a bit different to everyone elses shots... nearly 100,000 hits people! much thanks for the support

Ouch, pushed back to page 4! Lol. Guess thats what happens when you begin your first fulltime job, and suddenly have a car of your own to mess about with instead of playing on the 'puter :)

A couple of shots from Cassandra

Well, I'm not a big fan of the american railways*, but this is a great job! I'm delighted by the terrain, the mountains and walleys and the flora/vegetations on the hillsides. Nice work, mate!

vendel

*sorry for the cruel words... :hehe:

I believe the route is still a work in progress. BTW I wanted to ask if you have gotten as far as Altoona yard? I would imagine that it would be quite the task to build.

(the legend speaks of a battery loco that used to roam such yard. but was put into storage nearby.)

Rose Yard is in there as well as some placeholders for the shops. Ultimately we want to do the entire shop area as well. The routes DEM goes i think about 5 miles or so PAST the shops eastbound...

thanks for the comments guys, i really appreciate them :) i will make sure I put up some shots of Rose Yard tomorrow if you want DominikB

How far is Spruce Creek from Altoona? Its pretty far, but I have some great shots of the tracks (:o) and the surrounding area if you need them. I also have some shots of Tyrone and the little J bridges.
