Not Understanding relationship between CDP Packages and CMP 3.6

I have assets for 4 engines in wrapped in CDP. I used CMP 3.6 to import these CDP files into Trainz 2012. Appearently there is more to it. When I go to the Rolling Stock tab in Surveyor, the engines still show up in red. What did I do wrong?

Right click in CM whatever and check the errors and warnings on the asset. A number of assets made for earlier versions have errors in TS12, some are easy to correct some are more difficult.

To add to what John has said...

If it is appearing in red in Surveyor, this means that the asset either is faulty (search for Faulty:True) or has one or more missing dependencies (search for Missing Dependencies:True)

The searches mentioned in brackets are to be done in Content Manager.
