not shipped

Ok this is BS. how long does it take to go through customs and get to the American shipper. It has not been shipped still says pending. come on did customs steal the game or what.

You're hoping to achieve what exactly??

Usually clueless, unconstructive rants receive unconstructive replies, so don't don't say you weren't politely forewarned.

excuse me I SPENT $40 FOR A GAME I HAVE NOT GOTTEN SO BACK OFF. it still says pending processing and shipping. I't hasn't even been processed yet. it shouldn't take this long to go through customs etc. if the game is lost then give me my money back and i'll download it.

Hmmm, you didn't really listen did you?

What are you going to achieve by yelling here? If the items are still stuck in customs (highly likely...), there isn't much you can do... Things can, and do, get stuck in customs for a long while for various reasons...

Just chill out, and be patient... It will get to you eventually...

Please read the post before telling him he is being rude

"it still says pending processing and shipping. I't hasn't even been processed yet."

Customs are not holding it up, it has not been shipped yet.

The 'shipping' point is from the person in the US. Hence, once they 'ship' it/post it, the setting should change. The same went for the UK if I remember right.

Mine still says "pending" posted about 20 minutes after jimisham posted.
Oh well, too busy between now and Christmas to do anything with it. Maybe by the time it arrives they'll have figured out the issues with SP1 (why it works for some and not others).
As much as I'd like it now, I'm incredibly patient and will just wait it out.

Not to mention USPS isn't exactly speedy Gonzalez when it comes to delivering mail to certain places of the country...

Especially at this time of the year when postal and package delivery company's are overloaded with things to deliver before Christmas. Patience.

I'm waiting just the same...Like CPD, I have the patience for things like this because I know the product will get here eventually. Sadly I may not get to enjoy it when comes in because I'll be not enjoying my JAVA II class. :(

However since I work in logistics and deal with customs exporting and importing stuff, I can say that they can hold stuff for as long as they want. I think they do this to maximze the amount of money they can collect from the receiving company. To help expedite the process through customs, it's best that the exporter has all the proper proforma invoices, BSOL, packing slips, SEDs and anything else needed in order for the process to go smoothly.

I do agree also that the USPS is not the fastest method for postage. In general their priorty mail is about as fast as UPS and their package mail is sometimes twice as slow.

I found this a little tedious as a thread. the starter has answered his question right from the start (pending) and sidetracks it by bringing in the Customs?? Rather odd way to show impatience.

Threads have a way of doing this around here don't they. :)

Have a great holiday.

My friend, you must live in Canada as well! I've had packages held up by customs for at least 3 weeks sometimes. Happy holidays.

3-days to 3-WEEKS!

 Oh my...like a four-year-old in a minute-mart...

I so hope it takes three weeks for every one of you whiners!

Maybe you'll get a grip or just leave & we won't have to sustain your whining forever!

Sure, you paid bucks to have the program...so did I & I have no job! You have to wait patiently here just as you would for Amazon, e-Bay,etc.

I don't hate to wait, as I so don't like to see the complaints you'll post because your lack of intelligence caused by lack of research & homework will so be revealed after you get the program & on the least little problem you have after you have reinstalled the bugger 35 times!

Get a life....

finally it says Processed which means it been processed but not yet shipped. so its a start.took long enough.

Apparently you can't read either...

When TRS2009 was about to go gold, Tony announced the shipping schedule in his thread. He said that it'll take a few weeks once the disks come back from the duplicator and would ship worldwide to the distribution centers around the third week in December.

Well guess what? This has worked out EXACTLY as he said it would.

I sure you want this for your Winder vacation. So do I. I get two weeks of from school then it's back to the grind until July 2009. This is with only one week breaks in between with 5-6 week classes. This is in addition to working full-time as well. So needless to say, if my copy doesn't come in soon, it'll have to wait until I graduate in July for me to spend more time than a quick glance at it.

The other guess what. There's nothing I can do about it not coming in as scheduled so I'll wait for when it shows up. Remember the best things come for those that wait.

Merry Christmas and welcome to the adult world.

No, but I wish I did. :) I have relatives up in Halifax and Pugwash. I live in New England and ship a lot of stuff worldwide with a good hunk of stuff going to Mississauga. I've been lucky so far with customs, but this isn't always the case. Try shipping to India or Hong Kong. :rolleys:
