Not Happy

Hi There everyone I want to Wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

So why am I not a happy TRAIN Person?
Well its like this,
My Computer is in the shop getting My hard drive Replaced
But I won't get it back until FEBUARY and this means I am having Withdrawl issues.
At the moment I am haveing to use My wifes lap top to send you all this mesage.

My Major Prob I am going to have is that I well need to Reload TRAINZ 2010
So is there a brand new upto date Version of TRAINZ 2010 EE for me out there with all the bells and whistles ready to load ready to use?

Swapping out a hard drive takes about an hour. Just curious why you had to send it out and why it's going to take so long?

actually depending on your operating system it can take about an hour to completly install windows or your choice. as for all the other drivers and anything else you wish to have installed on your computer it shouldnt take more then 2 hrs at the most.

as for Feb. that seems like the pc tech seen you coming.

Just done one of mine here, this one actually, from a cloned copy of the OS / system drive, took about 2 minutes to swap the drive about twenty minutes to restore the drive from the clone.

I use small drives of 80GB for Operating systems and put most programs on the other drives.

My wife tells me that the computer is stall under warronty and hasto go to the other end of the country from where I live

And yes it is summer down here but to day its Bloody raining and I;m trying to build a fence so again I am NOT happy.

Well the only good thing is if it's under warranty they won't be charging to fix it I suppose.
 
warranty is a good thing just sucks its going to take so long, i built my own computer and there are several others out there who have done the same. the benifit of that is if something does go wrong im able to troubleshoot it my self. if it actually is something where i have to do a complete reinstall of everything it's all on cd's and so on
 
Just a thought ... to help pass the time until Feb and to ease your withdrawal symptoms ... you might get an iPad and the Trainz app ...

Hi Jamie well let me tell you this New Zealand has 3 Islands
North Island - South Island - Stewart Island
Ilive in the South Island and my computer has gone to the North Island so for trhe moment I'm kind of stuffed untill it gets back
and when it does get back I well have to reload Trainz and Buy me a life time ticket so I can download everything I have lost and that mate is the reason why I say BUGGER

UP DATE

Ok so today a rang Wellington to fined out what was happening with my Computer and they haven't even looked at it yet.
So I have been Ripping out a hedge and building a fence and if it ok with every one I would like to put pictures on here in a few days.
