Nexusdj pendolino power cars

Mine is picking the hornsound entry as the following:

Class 390 Horn,<kuid:92806:390002> (local asset)

I did use Trainz Downloader Pro to pick up the content, so it may have worked out that one.

I am running these new Pendolino cars on TS2009 SP4 native mode with no problems. They do show a scripting error (red button) as follows;
Thread Exception: ER_NullReference, line 1366, file train.gs

However they run OK other than the spark on the pantograph is a constant light rather than an intermittent spark.

CM3.3 shows no errors or missing dependancies. I also downloaded using TDP.

Did you tell it to overwrite the 'spark' asset - it's built in to TS2009 SP4/2010, so if you have overwritten it you need to use Revert to Original.

Failing that, make sure there are no faults.

Shane,

There are no faults or warnings. The spark asset used in the two power cars (3 & 7) is bloodnok's kuid 60850:99999 which is one of the two built-in sparks. Neither of them indicates that they have been overwritten and therefore 'revert to original' is not available, only 'revert'.

The spark works as it should in compatability mode but is a constant light in native mode.

I've found that some assets are like that - are there any faulty assets that may be influencing it?

The hornsound is on the DLS (FCT users should be able to get it straight away, but non-FCT users are faced with an indefinite wait)

Search for 'Class 390 Horn'

As for the movement, it's moving fine on mine in AI control - I think that due to the way the cab is designed, it is very difficult if not impossible to drive it in Cab mode.

Check that you have all dependencies, and that none of them are faulty.

Updated powercars should be up on the DLS within 6 hours .

As for native and compatibility modes I always use compatibility . Never had any complaints with the frame rates .

The sparker script is bloodnok's not mine , It was altered per the instructions contained within it to make the spark only appear on the pantographs that are visible .... Has anyone found the locations of the others yet ?

The two power cars and the rest of the set all show up correctly in Surveyor.

I run everything in Native Mode, do not see the point of reverting to an old format.

I run mine in Compatibility mode, so that may explain the difference (my route does not run very well in Native Mode)

EDIT: I also run mine under AI control due to cab issues.

Rather frustrating, considering the Pendolino is the only thing I would like to download.

Is there any other way I can download it without having to pay for a FCT or newer version of Trainz?

Sorry but you have an unsupported version of Trainz. Only the very rare TS2007 or later i supported so you gonna have to get one thing or another.

Make sure you have the latest version of the pendolino power cars - it should pick it up as a dependency.

Content Manager shows kuid:92806:390002 as missing, when I try to download from the DLS I immeadiately get the green tick ... indicating that the file is already on my PC but the missing kuid is still missing... where can I get the latest version?

Might be worth running a database repair, or opening the asset that requires that kuid and recommiting.
