newbie question

When I go to the Content Manager Plus, I get the error message:
"Cannot find your profile or you do not have a valid serial number. Please check that your Planet Auran profile details are correct and entered into your CMP settings"
1) I have a valid serial # and I am shown as logged in as fluteman70
2) I have check my profile and everything there is correct
3) The only thing remaining is the CMP settings and I have my ID(fluteman70) entered as well as my password.

The only question is: in settings I which Internet Settings should I use and I have checked "always online"

What more do I need to do?

Welcome to Trainz and the Trainz Forums.

Only other thing you need to do is register your Trainz.

Scroll up^^^ here and see >>> Serial Number <<<

Input your serial number there. After that, your Trainz version will show up to the right>>> of your name.

Thanks for your reply. I did what you suggested and got an email that said my serial number was aleady registered. Now what?

Enter a ticket with >>>Helpdesk<<<.

Again scroll up^^^ and see Helpdesk.

Sorry, but that is your only recourse for your issue.

Try opening CMP and totally removing your username and password, then save it. Exit CMP, re-open it and enter your credentials once again and save. Many times that works.

As said by Jalandis, this will work, no need to log a ticket with helpdesk
becoz i got same issue couple of times
 
You guys are forgetting that they can't access the DLS at all until their Trainz version is registered in their profile.
 
You won't be able to access the DLS until you register your serial number with Auran via the Profile section of this site, regardless of when or how you bought it. Therefore, it yours is already registered, then you'll just have to wait on helpdesk. Still doesn't hurt to double-check your profile and be sure it's correct - everything typed exactly, you didn't mistake a 2 and a Z, etc. It seems adding a registration or refreshing/changing your password help to refresh your profile. Just a thought.
