TRS2004 states that the maximum number of DCC drivers is seven. Someone in a Google newsgroup was comparing the difficulty of "flight simulators" with the ease of TRS2004 and casually mentioned that he/she had 12 drivers running under TRS2004. Even the "Track Laying and Troubleshooting" tutorial by Chuck Brite, on page 1 of the "Case Studies" section, mentions "ten trains running on autopilot". Try as I might, I cannot locate anything about increasing the number of drivers above seven in DCC mode. Where am I going wrong??? Thanks a lot for any assistance.

There appears to be a limit of 7 drivers allocated in Surveyor.
However, when a train is added using a Portal, the train and driver are added, and it's possible to have more than 7 drivers at one time.
(Try Bankz Heathz - Electric Blue scenario).

:wave: Well I'll be darn!!! Thanks much. I had no problem adding more drivers. I wonder why the Trainz manuals keep mentioning "7 drivers" ??? I never tried more than 7 because of the repeated mentioning of 7 maximum.
I had several additional driverless consists on my layout, but the only time I would assign a driver was when I took one of the seven already assigned drivers and executed the "MOVE TO" command to one of them. Plus I like to have at least one driveable boat moving at all times. You folks are great!!!! Thanks a lot.
