Newbie Here Guys. Please Help.

New to TS12 . When I press Start I get the blue page up with all the routes etc, however I cannot get a mouse icon and therefore cannot navigate around the Start Menu to select anything, thus I cannot move any further forward.
This is my first Tranz Sim, so have no past knowledge to draw on.

If you are using mouse trails or similar turn them off, that usually fixes it.

I am inclined to agree with Malc on this.

In addition to this, make sure both your graphics drivers and your DirectX files are up to date.

Thank you Malc & Shane. I did what you said and it works 100%. Delighted to have driven (Watched) my first train running along Murchison route. As an 80 yr old my brain is a bit slow. So thank you gentlemen once again.
