As I said before this Thread ois working out well
I suppose it is if pictures of rolling stock plunked down on a blank baseboard is your idea of NYC.
I assume that means New York City, and even in John's, Dietrichj's and bmoney44's shots I see nothing that would lead me to believe the shots were taken in NYC. I see nothing prototypical here, and I mean no offense to those who posted, but these pictures could be taken about anywhere.
When I read a thread title that lays claim to certain area or city, I expect to see something in the shot that would at least resemble the area the title claims to represent. If you're not following me; if I posted a thread titled "St. Louis" shots, I feel I would be obligated to post SOMETHING that would represent that city. Now, I don't expect the Arch, but an area prototypical to the city would suffice. Blank baseboards are prototypical to the local WalMart parking lot...but that's about it. How about you post something with a New York City Landmark in it? I know there's not too many

, but surely something could be represented!
Now, I understand if you don't want to stretch your talent in that way, that's perfectly acceptable, but perhaps you should consider a thread titled "Random Rolling Stock on Bare or Nearly Bare Baseboards" if you decide you're not up to the challenge.
