New user ? white spline marks showing in route

I have downloaded and installed the EVWR and UMR routes and in both cases numerous white spline marks are showing all over the place. This is not occurring in the default routes. What am I doing wrong, or how can I adjust options to make these go away. I don't see any missing items on either route. I am using TS12 version 49922. All of the required upgraded files have been installed. Any suggestions?

This happen when you have a route that uses items that are not TS12 compatabile -are the routes you have downloaded TS12 routes

Also happens if you're missing dependencies, check that the route doesn't have the yellow puzzle piece and download the splines if any are not installed.

There are deffinitely missing dependencies, that's what the dashed white lines indicate. The most likely problem is that TS 12 can play hard-to-get with legacy built-in assets not included as built-ins in TS12. They ARE on the DLS, though you may have to drag the route into the download window repeatedly before TS12's Content Manager garners the lot. I can't speak for UMR, but EVWR definitely has no missing dependencies, you just need to be a bit patient in TS12 till it finds everything....

Thanks folks, vry helpful. I have been searching for the dependencies and found quite a list that I am in the process of downloading. Checking the route itself in content manager by r-clicking on the route and checking for errors and msgs says that there are 3 assets from 127320 that are still missing. Anyway I will try doing the check several times to see if that helps also.

Another little trick, the "#" symbol is usually called the "pound sign", but also means "number". So set the content manager search filter for author, and in the space for the name, #127320. That reveals the guy's username is "yutzk". So next I come to the forum, click the advanced search, then search for User Name yutzk. Find the first post by yutzk and I see he has a JointedRail link in his siggy, so if there are some of his assets you can't find on the DLS, you can probably get them from www.jointedrail.com instead. Or contact the guy directly and ask him about the KUID numbers if they're unknown.

Thanks Jim. Jointed Rails doesn't have a way to search on developer name or KUID, so I sent an email to Kevin Yutz to see if he can help.

Cripes, I'm getting senile, talking to madoke over at trainsim.com and thinking you were a different guy, shoulda noticed the Spokane for your location. Guess it's not so odd that two people would have the same problem if funnelman and madoke are one and the same!

They will be 53' trailers, mentioned on the checkrail downloads page. There is a pack of them at JR under freeware, just make sure you get the scenery pack, not the rolling stock loads...

One of the main reasons that, no matter how good it is, I don't use stuff not available on the DLS. :hehe:
