Freezing as in frozen forever and never moving again? Or just a pause?
HI MRSCSI,
i am everytime thinking to ask you, how much is your pc cost?
u got any videos of ur work?
Freezing as in totally stops for 2 + minutes - since link to you tube video I uploaded earlier (page 2 of this tread)
PC cost $999.00 2 years ago. That was the core I7 4 gb of ram a 500 gb sata drive and a ATI 4850 and DVD drive...
It is a Dell Studio xps 435MT...
Since then it has gotten maxed on Ram 300 bucks, 2 1 tb sata's about 150 I think, a new 650 watt power supply 60 or 70 bucks, and a MSI twin frozrII 560 gtx ti video card 250 bucks...
So about 1769 but that is OVER 2 years and it is positioned now to go into the future for quite some time...
What work are you wanting videos of? I got some trainz related videos online at ryomag.com I got some of my production work online here (edited this one and authored the DVD) and here (shot, edited and did EVERYTHING but freakin play, will never do it again either) when I had my production company (I sold it and retired in 05)
It may seem like a lot but I have paid more for less...
Thats a good deal for ur pc, i am having an dell xps 1530, dualcore 2.4ghz,4gb ram ,320 hd, nvidia 8600gt 256mb card, the drawback is i cant update like u as its an laptop, i bought it 2 yrs ago for 1250$ its ok for regular use, but unable to get smooth gameplay in trainz

AHHH Ok I will make a video of the game, keep in mind I throttle the video card to 44 fps, I do this to keep the swings in fps to a minimum and as a result it runs smoother...
Ohk, looking forward to see it sir....
Here is a clip of Avery Drexel, note the system settings at the beginning...

Now it's right
Hello sir, thanks for considering my request and spending your time to make an video, i just saw it..its smooth n i can see speedtrees also with out an freezing..
nice...
If your video goes above 44 sometimes or even above say 30 fps you might try adding the -framerate=30 in your trainzoptions.txt and see what it does. if you can maintain 30+ that should be smooth...
