Excuse my ignorance, but what is ning, the ning one needs to be a member of to join or access the site????

ning is a social networking site ( a bit like myspace and facebook) where you can create a site about anything you like. Being a member also gives you access to hundreds of other ning sites made by other users. If you dont find one that matches your intrest you can make your own in around 10 minutes
