Yeah,
I really hate the new Thomas And Friends for two reasons:
1: the voices are different:'(
2: all the mouths move (and it looks creepy)
P.S. I omly have one comment:
1: after all those freak'n years they finally show an American engine!
I agree - but unfortionatly what they're doing is right - it teaches the kids of today the values of friendship and whatnot. That's what they're aiming to do, not please us lot. I think it's an abuse of the original creation - but I'd be happy with it if you were just to forget about the original and see it as a new show.
Chris
I have seen both "Chugginton" and "Thomas & Friends" and although "Thomas & Friends" has issues. :'( At least it's better than "Chugginton". I mean, they don't keep the classic feel of true railroad operations and to make matters even worse :n: the adventures make less sense than the "Thomas & Friends" ones. Well, for one thing a Japanese Bullet Train engine learning how to pull passengers?! You're kidding, right, they were built for that job, so why the heck does one need to learn how to pull passengers?! (Oh god, this is like the whole stupid, "Hannah Montana" B.S.) Believe me, I wish "Chuggington" would chuff over the stupid rainbow it came over on and that rainbow leave it there. :n: Moving on... Thomas is not as bad, but it's getting there. For starters what the heck is with all the new engines?! Emily, I can understand, because of the whole sexism issue. Hank, I can deal with because I like the Pennsylvania Railroad to that degree, but come on, haven't we had enough already?! * Sarcastically* No, lets keep adding more and more engine. *normal* Give me a break! What happened to characters we used to know and love?! You know, Duck, Oliver and so on. I'll tell you what, when HIT Entertainment took over, they wanted to do budget cuts and well, they just blew Thomas into a tornado of vile and putrid. I wish the old episodes were still on in abundance and I'd be happy.![]()
As far as the railroad realism goes, why hasn't anyone brought in the FRA to watch over the railway? Who has ever heard of trains stopping to play around and splash through mud puddles (refer to the episode "Splish, Splash, Splosh")?

EDIT: Opps! Almost Forgot. They never showed Duke, did they? Ya know...Grandpuff? Falcon? Stuart?
And yes, the first Thomas movie with Alec Baldwin was amazing. Well written, still in line with the world of thomas, and over all good to whatch.
