Hi,,,I am trying to have a session where I do not drive it myself but select a driver (eg Adair ) and select where he has to go to load and unload, I also need all the choices for him to have but I am having trouble achieving this.
I can place a driver at the bottom but there is no choices of what he has to do.
Can someone help with this please or tell me where in the help files.

Have you checked the manual that came with TANE?

Rather than attempting to answer what is actually quite a complicated question myself, I would recommend that you take at look at the manual first.

It is a PDF document that would be found at (if drive C: was your install drive)

C:\Program Files\N3V Games\TANE\resources\extras

Specifically, look at DRIVER COMMANDS on page 67 for issuing driver commands in Driver Mode.

But for a more detailed and useful description, look at CUSTOMISING YOUR SESSION on page 182

Hope this helps.

Hi Lenscab

Can you clarify what you are wanting to do. If you just want your driver to run a shuttle service between two industries (e.g.coal mine and power station) then the manual would be of help to you. On the other hand if you want him to have a choice of different tasks to perform then it gets more complicated.

My advice would be to try something relatively simple first such as the shuttle between a mine and power station which will give you the basics of how industries can interact. Once you've grasped the basics then there are dozens of driver commands on the DLS that can perform specific tasks and can help you produce quite complicated AI sessions. Unfortunately many of them aren't too well documented but if you ask for help on the forums there is usually someone who has experience of them.

If you are still having problems with getting started after reading the sections in the manual then drop me a PM and I'll try to help.

Firstly click on menu and select edit session. You have 3 main options, Startup, driver command and driver setup. You must open the driver command icon to show a list of commands, select all the ones you want to use in your session (you can add or delete later if you wish), these will now appear in the drivers choices. Next open the driver setup and you can add all the driver commands for all the drivers you have. When you exit the sim you save both the route and session. Next time you open the sim select the route and show sessions. select the session to get back the commands you gave the driver.

Thankyou very much,,,,I have looked into all the suggestion you have given and Have applied the same. It is what I was looking for and now look forward to applying them to my route.
Thanks again
