New Releases: (5/20/13) ALCO RS1's, Early GP7's & 9's

Hey Guys!

Adam and Alex have been busy at work with lot's of new goodies! First up is a collection of UP GP7's with a GP9B. For the MKT fans we have a 2 pack of KATY GP7's, and one more unit to add to the Sacramento Northern #711.

FEATURES:

• Class Lights
• Animated windows and sunshades
• Animated cab doors (GP9B too!)
• Animated drop steps
• Custom lit number boards, cab
• ARN (UP, MKT)
• Gecko skins (UP GP7)
• Gyra Light (UP GP7 Type II)

And on to the ALCO RS1's... There are several schemes already done so look for a steady release of these units. Today's release will include ATSF, PRR, and NYC. For the Club Car members you have a free RS1 now in the Club Car only content section. We were able to secure a location that would allow us access to record the proper sounds from a real RS1. We used professional recording equipment and recorded the custom sounds that are included in this model. We hope you enjoy, we plan to take sounds to an entire new level in the future with this new equipment.

If I could just throw a little shameful "gimme"...those UP GP7's with the lower headlights and upper mars lights would look real nice dressed up in CB&Q black/gold and chinese red/grey (you would just need to get rid of the dynamic brakes)..hint, hint

Heavier than, say, an EMD, but the 539T prime mover actually isn't responsible for the black clouds that ALCos are known for. The 244 and especially 251s smoke far more.

If anyone is experiencing any issues with receipt of the emails with links it may be due to something thats currently out of our control. Paypal is somehow seeing something within our products here " ALCO RS-1" that they are picking apart as being somehow not within their " acceptable use policy". This is flagging all orders mostly and requiring us to manually clear the order once it gets thru their quick check and Paypal finally figures out its OK to let go.

We'll have to work with Paypal tommorrow 5/21/13 to figure out how to avoid this going forward so please give us a few hours to get your orders cleared to you if possible during this time.

PayPal flagged my transaction for some government regulatory reason so it took a little while (30 mins or so) to process. Googling around it seems that only happens if paypal thinks you are buying something illegal or banned in the US. It has to be cleared before it will process. The most common items are saw were stamps or other memorabilia from Cuba, Iran, or the DPRK. No idea why a JR purchase would be flagged for that, but who knows. Like I said, it shouldn't take too long.
