New Patch Notification

The North Bank Route
At 9:35PM PDT I was launching trains 2009 and got a notice of a new patch. Has anyone installed this patch? Can you tell if things are better, no change or worse.
I’m reluctant to install it as every time I install a new patch, it is usually not for the better.

I just downloaded and installed it. I'm now at build 38599. The first thing I noticed is the telephone wires are now black lines like they should be. Haven't check anything else so far. (1:45 Pacific Daylight Time)

So my installation automatically updated to version 38017 from version 37625, but now will not automatically update to version 38599 from version 38017? If I had version 37625 still I could download a manual patch, but there is none available for 38017.

Or should I just assume I've worn out my welcome?:hehe:

Hello

Remember patch 38599 is a hotfix patch, Service Pack 2 is still to come.

Regards

Ahsan:)

Well it looks like I will have to wait now for the official SP2.

Installed the latest patch to 38599 and now no engines will move.

Full throttle on the Big Boy and the drive wheels are turning slowly but no movement. Same with 2 other locos.

2009 is now un-usable till SP2.

I found the manual patcher button on 2009 and now:

I'm confused!

Thanks Napalm. This time the auto patching notice came up. Now to see if I am dead in the water until SP2 like some others!

I tested the Big Boy and some other engines and I am not having any trouble with them at all, I guess that's a good thing.

Dennis,
I tried Bib Boy and found it drives ok in DCC and CAB. Does yours show any errors in CM2? Several of my 0-6-0's suddenly show minor errors but were easily fixed. I see no difference in steam loco performance between this update and the previous.

Hi Bob

Checked and found no errors showing on the Big Boy.

Tried putting a different train with a built in loco and it worked.

On close up view of Big Boy it tried to move then just sat and spun wheels, so I uncoupled it and it drove ok.

Turned out to be the wagons.

Wagons are 'Hopper II Mineral' kuid 2 112938 78 3 by JSLBM

It is showing some tag errors in the config so will try to fix them and see if it helps.

EDIT:
I have tried fixing the tags and no difference.
This problem is also in 2006.
These wagons seem to not want to move.
