martinvk, one of your Parking Meters (kuid2:70337:58033:1) is showing "0kb of 0kb" to download meaning that the DLS has a problem. I know that Auran are slow at fixing this problem it maybe easier to upload it again with a new extension number.

A very common problem :'(

When I looked last night, all four had been downloaded at least 50 times. Don't know what the number is this morning since I can't reach the DLS!

Perhaps it broke just as you were trying to download?

martinvk, the number of "downloads" shown (now 98) is only the number of attempts to download the item/s.

This has been a constant problem which Auran can fix in 98% or so of them, but as I say trying to "talk" to them is not that easy these days.

Couldn't download it either so I resent the package to the DLS and told the Helpdesk about the issue.

Saw the other thread and what a long list of similar problems. Isn't there some quality check to make sure that the uploaded file is really available for download? If not, there should be. This really shakes my confidence in having a single DLS for Trainz, it's turning into a single point of failure.

This problem has been around since 2004 was released. Most of the time Auran can fix them if we are able to contact them :hehe: . I have no idea what the problem is but it is at Auran's end.

This item can not even be downloaded via FTP either.

Well now that Martin have given you Parking Meters static objects, here is the product ....

so, picture a scenario like this:

1. 300 Parking Meters need to be replaced. Tac City just got a grant to replace them.

2. You have ordered 500 Parking Meters from Martin Parking Meter factory.

3. Union Pacific has the ordered to load, transport them and Unload them at Tac City!
