It would be nice if there is IRC Chat again. 
I Lost many of my friends since the IRC is closed, AJ_Fox, Wileecoyote, Louise_T, RooRocz, and so on.
The ingame Chat is not the best, i never see my friends there.
(maybe Trainz doesn´t use the IRC protocol ingame.)
But in the irc #trainz i saw my friends (if they were connected) and wrote with him.
May be a link between Game and irc can be usefull.
So that people which are ingame can write with the IRC people which are not running the Game at this time and so on.
But how i said, i loved the IRC Chat and i lost a lot of friends because auran shut down the IRC Server.
These were friends since more than 2 Years.
So Please Auran bring back the IRC Server.
(there is some little irc software for Linux (i tried on my dsl router)
ngircd (http://ngircd.barton.de/) works nice
But please bring back the IRC
