Hi pfx And Everybody.
It could be Mike with the bike.
Or it could be Mike with the Mike, who plays with the biggest band and in the land.
But I think it's Mike with the bike and the Mike, but I'm just guessing.
I think this posting should be on the famous " beer is brain food" thread. Thinking of that, time for a glass to help with the route building.

flyingscotman your request still does not make sense. The only people or organizations that should have copies of Trainz 2009 are Auran/NV3 or authorized retail distributors.
Therefore if your copy is faulty then I suggest that you ask the help desk for assistance or post on this forum a request for help in correcting the copy you have now.
Unless Mike 10 is an authorized distributor then I suggest you do not post such information on this forum as the copy you are asking for could well be "pirated" and you could leave yourself and the person you are trying to contact open to possible legal action.

mike gave me a copy of 06 and it isnt pirated, its the just trains version it installed loads of times but i have to uninstall it since it messed up then i tried to install i today and it happened

I have no doubts that you are telling the truth. However, the truth also is that if " Mike10" gave you a copy of TRS06 that had been already purchased and used on another system that did not belong to you then that makes your installation of that copy illegal.
All single software licenses state that the copy purchased must only be used and installed on the purchasers system(S). Some software single licenses allow users to install on up to three machines but they must be the original purchasers machines.
Therefore what you are attempting to do is still illegal as you were not the original purchaser of that software. In fact you are pirating that copy.
Can I suggest that your best course of action would be to purchase and download direct from Auran/NV3 a new copy of TRS10 or TRS09 and then you will get the full support of the helpdesk should you have problems.
You will undoubtedly also get far more support on this forum.

The help you are getting is that you are being told "the truth" which it seems you do not like.
What you are trying to get is software which Auran have created at cost to The company for free. The truth also is that you have no respect for the employees of that company who produce that software and are trying to earn a living through their efforts.
The salaries they earn supports them and their families and people like you and others like you try to destroy That employment.

Hi
Mike10 is one of the team who created the Settle and Carlisle route and has also distributed various versions of Trainz in the UK for Auran. When I bought TC3 and 2010 on DVD they were posted to me by Mike. I bought 2009 as a digital download so I can't comment regarding that version.

I agree with you there clam1952 (to be honest though, I didn't even know that Mike10 is a distributor)
The issue that is being encountered sounds like a damaged disc to me.
Unfortunately, apart from getting a new copy, I do not think there is any way round that.
As I haven't bought anything from Mike10, I do not know how quickly he can sort this problem out.

Therefore my later posting was based on the belief that Mike 10 was a private individual. Thanks for the information but I believe a more thorough explanation of the circumstances should have been forthcoming on the opening post.

I'm confused !!! - Is the TS2009 Just Trainz disk damaged ??? - If the disk isn't damaged, you could try running a registry cleaning program like CCleaner - http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/download/3a3e44d3c4dbe3b50634a122bf7000d6/
That should clean out your old TS2009 registry crap !!! - (use the top two left-hand icons in CCleaner). Once you have cleaned your registry, retry installing 06...
Whats confusing me is you appear to already have NV3 registered copies of 04, 06 & 09, so where are those disks? If you need to do a reinstall, use the already registered disk/s & their registered serial numbers...
If it's the Just Trainz version of 06 that you have register with NV3 (and the disk is somehow damage) you will just a have to somehow find another 09 disk from somewhere and use that disk to install 09 and re-enter you Just Trainz 09 serial number...
The reason why I have replied to your post is because you clearly have registered copies of 04, 06 & 09 and that's good enough for me. I'm not to sure what this "pirated" stuff is all about. (Probably something lost in the translation). :hehe:
Please try and make yourself clear in your posts. That way there's less chance of you being misunderstood. Try PM'ing Mike again. He might have a spare 09 disk he can lend to you... Just use your already register 09 serial number with it !!!!

As stated in my previous post I do feel bad about ripping into the guy and I again apologize. However, we get so many members who seem to make no attempt to explain their problems in any recognizable way at all that it is no wonder misunderstandings occur.
Neither flyingscotsman or any other member advised me that Mike 10 is an authorized distributor prior to my third posting and further inquiries of the OP. Therefore it was an easy belief by me to think that he was a private individual.
I have a deep loathing of people who pirate media products whether that be music, film or programs. It destroys employment and reduces choice to consumers when companies decide it is not worth producing media because of this problem.
The above is what I believed I was replying to this evening and that was purely on the basis that the problem had not been properly explained.
I knew it was not my day when Arsenal lost 3-1 to Birmingham in the Carling cup final earlier today
