New computer with Windows 11 fresh install

My question is, If I was up to date on my old computer then why is this a different build I got from my download at Trainz? I'm going to see if I can clean up my old computer because I had 19 on that and at one time, I tried to delete 19 to free up space. If I can get rid of all that and my Plus stills runs ok, then I might try to do your suggestion. I'm just trying to keep everything in order on my new computer. In my uninstall list I have 3 icons two says Tane and one says TRS22 but if I try to uninstall the Tane ones It says it will delete Trs22. I'm not sure why when it says Tane. I'm tempted to go ahead and delete and see if my plus is ok, what do you all thank. Thanks again for all the help.
Don't delete trainz from the apps. N3V are not good at labelling trainz for windows.

Can someone please tell me how to get to the trainz directory in Windows11 because after users and my name the other directories aren't there that we used in Windows10?

The old one should be easy enough. By default on a new install it will put the data file under trainz or somewhere. I normally install trainz to \N3V away from program files and the data directory under \ts22data. The defaults aren't good.

Ok, if the app data is not there then here is what you do. Open file explorer/ click view/ show/ hidden items and then you can access the same as before. hope this helps someone else out.

It's there but hidden, but it isn't necessary to put it there and you can rename the folder to something else such as TRS-PLUS-DATA, for example. You can then select this folder in Trainz settings and everything will work just the same. This is actually a bit easier for when you need to edit content or perform other maintenance.

If you want to put the folder in App Data, you need to do this first.

Open Explorer.
Open This PC.
Click on C: drive.
Click on View

At the bottom, click on Show.
Click on Show Hidden Items.

If this doesn't work. I'm not sure if the option above is available if the settings are not set here.
Click on the ... to the right. This is the same view as it was in Windows 10.
Click on Options
Click on View tab
Click on Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
Click Apply to Folders at the top.
Click Appy at the bottom and then OK.

Ok guys here is what I did, so instead of making CDP file I just copied my folder under N3V to my SSD that took over three hours on my old rig and today I copied to my new rig that only took less than a half hour. So, my question is if I get rid of my first install and just keep my files that I copied over then I should be good to go. I tried it on the old rig before I made a copy, and it worked fined.

That should work. Your data-folder is all you need.

Don't delete anything on the SSD in case something's missing. There's always that just-in-case factor to keep in mind. Once you're satisfied with the operations and the data has become stale on the SSD, you can clean up the drive, or repurpose it for something else.

Ok, that didn't work because even though it's my data it's not showing my build number on the startup screen it's still showing the build number for the one I downloaded off Trainz my downloads, so how do I get it to show my build number?

Download the Plus installer from My Trainz.
Install that as you normally would.
At the graphics performance screen, skip that step.
Don't bother signing in because you'll have to do that again.

Once installed, start up again.
Go to Trainz settings on the Launcher.
Click on Internet tab.
Click on the ... next to the bar.
Browse to your data-folder you copied over.
Select that folder.

Trainz will restart.
You should be all set.
