hello again: I promise that this will be the last post for a while ( I hope).

looking into buying a computer and I found one that I like( but i'm still looking) and I would like your opinion on this I think it might do the job on trs2010. so here it goes:

cpu: intel core I5 2.8 ghz with turbo boost up to 3.4 ghz
memory: 6gb ram ddr3
hd: 1.5tb
gpu: intel 2000 which I will change to nvidia gtx560
power supply: not listed
video memory 6114mb
opsys: w7 premium
expansion slots: 1 pci-e x16 and 3 pci-e x1

the only thing is the processor would I see any great performance between I5 and I7? I did not see anything about hyper-threading. the graphics is weak so I will change that; the sound is built in and I do not know how the trainz will sound with a built in sound. I will also change this also.

I just wish I had more pci-e x 16 expansions slots instead of the 3 pci-e which I think is old maybe not.

Processor it's good, RAM looks good, hard drive the faster the better (so if it's 5400 RPM with 16 MB cache it won't perform as well as say a 7200 RPM with 64 MB of cache), the GTX 560 good card but you're going to probably have to change the power supply which isn't that big a deal, Windows 7 that's okay, having only one PCI E 16 if you're not going to run SLI or crossfire is not that big a deal.

Now I bought my old Dell almost 3 years ago a first-generation core I 7 and over the last three years have pretty much upgraded it to the point where you couldn't tell it was a Dell any longer. Friday will be the final piece of the puzzle when the motherboard gets here.

But I'd say what you have listed once you put the video card in should run Trainz 2010 without a problem. It's a good base that you can expand upon over time if you're not afraid to get your hands dirty and do a little work. Now I don't have any experience with the I5 and I do run a first-generation power sucking core I 7, so I may be off on the processor but I do have a GTX 560ti and those cards freaking rock…:hehe:
