New Aircraft

nzms.
Not all of Ian's static planes are on the Born Field Map, and not many Flying models are included on it,and he sure made quite a large number of both type of models.
Now a few more pic's of Lukla, and yes pilots do need to be realy experienced and capable of precision landings as there is NO chance of going around,it's
land or____.

Now Iv'e forgotten how to seperate pic's to add captions between them.

Making good progress Norm.

As Jamie said, we have some success with helicopters, the Chinook, the EC145 and the Kawasaki BK147 helicopters.

The B key starts or stops the engines. The H key lifts it up 15 metres, to hover, but you can set it to less height in the config file. Fly it around, and then the H key lowers it down again for a hover touchdown. The V key operates doors and the winch, and they load passengers, with door animation.

This means that you can fly helicopters realistically, without the need for a vertical lift table.

Working with sounds is a bit fiddly, when you stop, the sound goes walkabout sometimes, when that is fixed they should be able to be released.

While testing them, I had left triggers on the track from the Galaxy test operations, when the helicopter hit the first B trigger, the engines and rotors stopped in mid flight, it then hit the H trigger and promptly fell out of the sky, a quick manual engine restart with the B key, it passed the next H trigger and up it went again, actually a very realistic engine failure scenario. :)

This is the Kawasaki in New Zealand Rescue colours, just for Gordon. The Kawasaki is a variant of the EC 145 Eurocopter.

Nice one, another chopper

Craig, was your hair-dresser blonde or brunette??:hehe: :hehe:

Ian, what about the Bell 412 and Super Puma's?? Will they be upgraded as well?? And take a break for a week or 2 during the holiday season, remember you have family and friends who still care for you

Jamie

Excellent Westpac Rescue Heli cant wait to have this on station.

Here's a thought, if we could select what aircraft the triggers operate much like a portal we could then set the trigger to only operate that aircraft regardless of priority.

Ive almost finished my Heathrow airport and on checking there is 150 gates 30 parking, 15 cargo bays, 1 VIP gate plus 11 hangers and 1 helicopter landing. These are just the ones that an AI plane can navigate to. Some other gates are to complicated to put track on so they are static only. The London underground and Heathrow express lines are also placed on the map even though they are beneath the aiport. Still a few signs to put on it and sort out a few navigation around the taxiway problems. The airport was built from google images and map layout plans and has all the taxiways and runways in place. I will be putting together a demo session and an ATLS session, the latter will be needed to operate the airport as ATLS is used throughout to control all aspects of plane management. The MAP can been seen with a rough demo as the demo is being updated.

Can I ask guys

Do you use the advanced section in the triggers and trackmarks to make it stop so accurately??

Jamie, if I want a plane to stop at a certain spot I set the radius of my trackmark to 0.10m and I have done the same with triggers as well.

For example on an Airport apron I have a line where the plane should stop, so I place my trackmarker just in front of it and set it to 0.10m, the plane then stops right on that line. Sometimes you may have to move the marker a little bit to get it right, but that is not a problem.

now that the dls is stuffed unless you have fct (which i dont) doesn't anyone know any aircraft (jet fighters-drivable or static-i just want to place them on an aircraft carrier)that you dont need the dls for

Nice Gordon

What are all the vehicles in your second shot??

IAN!

I have thought of the best way of getting pushback tractors to couple tractors without any huge commands!

The pushback is a trigger function, and it appears, drives 20m then is next to the plane, but it's not a loco, and you just use the aircraft going backwards, but it looks like it's being pushed
You use another trigger on the same setting to make the pushback drive back to whereever

Obviously it needs more thought
And just too get a record of shots in a single page

Here's a few

Need to fix a few things up in the airport, more 'in-flight' pics later

Sorry for the double post, but you have TS2010, you can still download, but you will need to wait your turn

Jamie

Okay, 100 000 less assets,
What do you mean?? It's not simpler, you highlight the download you want, then drag it over to the downloads tab, and click start

Not much simpler

Jamie

Jamie, the trucks are from Yukonzoom, make sure you have 2004 marked when you look for them on the DLS, he has some great trailers too. (static only)

I've got a custom order Halls Transport unit being made for me, drivable 8x4 with 53` box trailer, have asked that the trailer legs and rear doors be made to use Boats aircraft trigger. Hopefully wont be to far away.

Gordon

Thanks Gordon

Does the C5 fit in the hangar you have in your shots?? Or is it too big??:hehe:

What are the Cat or Komatsu construction vehicles??

Jamie
