Also the Britannia and Orion -200's bring back some memories nexusdj - many thanks

Keep up the good work everyone.

The clean and simplistic lines of this aircraft make it one of my favorites.

Nice nighttime screenshots nexusdj!

Hi guys,

The 737-200 model has been updated as a version 3 model, should be available soon, it fixes a mapping problem for the right engine, it was a copy of the left preventing you having different markings on each (reversed lettering would occur on one). Thanks to Rob and Pascal for checking the models.

Yes very nice night shots nexusdj, and pleased to see some interest in the models and reskins.

Ian

My reskin of the South African Airways Boeing 737-200 has been updated to the new model produced by Vulcan. I took this opportunity to correct some faulty details and now, it looks like the real aircraft.
You can notice the shiny engines, which were left unpainted natural metal at that time. Another nice detail introduced by Vulcan.

how are you guys getting your airport basemaps, are you using transdem or are you just using baseboards with google images, I'm trying to do Arizona's International airport (sky harbor) but I'm not sure how transdem interacts with the new USGS models or even where to start really :/

Hi, Alex. I'm using TransDEM 2.5 and the 3D UTM tiles from Google Earth images (all done within TransDEM). Advantage - hi-res images for baseboards. Disadvantage - no shadows. Plus I'm having problems with the invisible track. My poor plane buries itself up to the windows in the tarmac during take off before it gets up in the air! :hehe: I need to practice laying the track some more...

Here's the new/old United 737 leaving Mercer County, NJ for Chicago. I'm having a blast with this airplane!!!

Glad you're liking the old bird Andrew. A new version with shiny jets like Pascal's SAA is on it's way. Should be available by the end of the week.

Boeing 787-8 Northwest Airlines (Fictional)

Hello Rob. I am not trying to be a gimme-pig, but I was wondering if you would be willing to do a Northwest Airlines Boeing 787-8. I would really like to see that.

watemple,
Sorry this has taken so long. There were a couple of requests ahead of you & I've been developing in the background with Vulcan on some new projects.

So this is the promised fictional livery for the Northwest Airlines Dreamliner. Northwest are now merged with Delta so the orders for the Dreamliner (if any) are now under the Delta brand.

Available in a few days on DLS.

Based on the nice Piper Cub J3 recently produced by Vulcan, I made these 2 new reskins:

It's a Cub used by the PINDER Circus in the 50s in France to attract people for the show.

This is the same aircraft with the name of a famous singer (at that time..;-)), Luis Mariano, who was part of the show.

CRJ200 - Air Canada Express

The next installment of the CRJ200 series moves across the border to Canada.
I've already released the four Jazz seasonal liveries but have updated them to the new CRJ200 model specs.

In 2011, Air Canada decided to re-brand it's Jazz Aviation regional business & is now know as Air Canada Express.

The re-brand came with a paint scheme to match the parent company's teal aircraft.

They use the CRJ along with C605 & Dash 8 aircraft to run tests on airport runway navigation systems. Here the CRJ is flying a low level pass along runway 26R to run some tests.
