New Aircraft

After a couple of days away from the forum, I return to find all these great new aircraft.

Amazing work Ian, many thanks for the countless hours you have put into the planes, it is very much appreciated.

Jamie, I love the back end shot of the helicopter looks great.

Yep ,you obviously watched the same show on TV.
I was in need of a new challenge so am having a go at it.
Instead of the correct height 3,000mts I'm setting it at 1,000.
O'Boy making the mountains in surveyor is a killer.

Ive just downloaded it and all is well in 2009. The preview is there and no faults show. Delete it and try download again. To correct the only error delete the icon 0 from the config file.

Can I also thank you for the original A380 you reskinned for us??

Jamie

You're welcome Jamie,
Speaking of the original Airbus, the static models have been uploaded and are now available for download:
Original Airbus A380 static or KUID: 510748:1123
Airbus A320 Jetstar static or KUID: 510748:1118

I would also like to wish Qantas a very Happy 90th birthday! :) :hehe:

Sorry Vulcan...

G'day... :(

Unfortunately, I have discovered what causes the 'sharding' issue with my Trainz. It appears to be Vulcan's new 'Planez' :'( I don't understand. I've had to uninstall all my Planez. But at least TS2009 works. I am extremly sorry Vulcan that I can't use your Planez. :(

Cheers... :(

Wing Commander Bill Boards, from “Oh Four” squadron, makes a low pass over the English village of Newbarns, narrowly avoiding being grounded by a birdstrike.

Dad, out with the kids, attempts to contact Auran on his cellphone regarding the number of posts being made in the Screenshot section, without an image – 15 so far in this thread!

Not a new aircraft, but a classic – and a screenshot!

Cheers

LocoT,

What is the fault message? Others have it working. I develop the planes in TS2009, and the build is 2.7, for Trainz Classics, the lowest that Auran will accept. I see you are listed as using TC as the highest version. Perhaps there is something that is only a problem in TC, but I need more information before you call it "faulty".

While I do not have TC installed, I have changed the build back to 2.6 and tested the plane in TRS2006. It works as specified. I have mentioned before some script commands do not work in less than TC, but this plane does not use any of those script commands.

There is one error message about the term "bogey" not being allowed, this is from changes to the way bogeys are specified in TRS2006, but this problem does not show in later versions. The error message does not effect the operations.

If you want to try changing the bogey entries to see if it works, open the config and remove the line:

bogey <kuid:-10:149>

add the following:

bogeys {
0 {
reversed 0
bogey <kuid:-10:149>
}
1 {
reversed 0
bogey <kuid:-10:149>
}
}

I know the new flashers may show a not required Region tag, but they are still functional in 2006.

Let me now if I can help further.

The Icon0 is not an error, just a warning. That tag gives the green industry tick in the Surveyor menu. When testing interactive industries, I look in surveyor for an item (carriage, wagon) that show the tick so I can test my model. Auran decided to do away with that useful help, but did not replace it with an equivalent easy way to find those models in Surveyor. I did ask about it on the forum. You can read the result here:

http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=53898

As the warning has no effect on the models, I continue to specify the green tick option. I will remove it if it gives any problems.

Nice picture mezzoprezzo.

theres no "error" nor fault massage but ill try changing the trainz build number to 2.6

Don't worry about thebuild number that makes no sense, it's what Ian uses too upload, if there are no faults then you're trainZ has something wrong with it, show a a screenshot of it then

Airplanes AND Landscapes

Hi People.. for the enthusiasts and fans of the Ian Airplanes i m fan to ( Magnificent work they do) i play around whit mi low poly landscapes meshs (this one whit 3kmx3km) whit a newest model of Ian KC-135 Tanker Aircraft USAF whit a invisible spline and i can say is like M flight simulator x eh eh.. of course they are slow at charge the mesh at first consuming around 6 seconds at 10 dependes but of course they have a huge texture but frame rate is very good. Maybe (and i go tries and experiment that) , a mesh tiles whit 1.5km x 1.5km maybe loads faster but is a very good view in the highways. Well people who have low ended machines dont have a possibility of tries that because they consumes many resources. Thanks for you attention.
