Need To Delete Overhead Catenary?

I want to revert and electrically powered railroad to steam/diesel only. Therefore, I want to remove the electrical catenary system. But I can't find any way to delete the overhead wires. Are they splines of some sort? If so their ID does not pop up when trying to select them with the Spline tool.

I did this with the southern end of the ECML, ages back Dick.

What i did and it seemed to work ok. Was find everything to do with OHLE in CM and disable it.

Opened the route for editing and it was all missing. Chose "delete all missing assets" and saved. Came out of the game and back into CM and re-enabled the said assets.

If you go back into the route, you should find they are all still deleted. That was my experience anyway.

Mike.

They may be object splines and if so you should see spline points along the track. They might be Track splines being part of the track like third rails on an electric track, or Track objects attached to the track.

30 years ago IBM passed out brown plastic balls. Inscribed on each was "A Round To-IT". Now I have to get around to-it.

Ok tried again with info offered. First the overhead wires are an independent "highway type" spline. Their selection is always beneath the white towers. This led me to believe they were part of a tower system - wrong they are independent. So, now how do I remove the towers. Well they are part of the track. But, I can't replace the track because it is protected as a Packaged Asset. Will probably just moth-ball the route and write-off $30.

In surveyor 2.0 you can double click the catenary and all objects should be highlighted then you can just delete them.
