Need some feedback on a route i am making

Back to the studio!
Hi guys,
I am making a new route on TS2009. What I am doing is a big city route. There is a footy stadium at one end and a big city at the other . It has a few other things like a highway and a town and many other things. It is a high-speed rail link. I just thought i would ask some fellow Trainzers some questions. What should it be called? What other things should I add? What rolling stock shoud I use. Other things do you think I could do? Just feedback from other trainzers. Thanks

I doubt very much that such an expensive rail line would exist just to facilitate travel between a stadium and a city. Between two LARGE cities is more believable. One could happen to have a stadium. In fact, the commuter line near me does have a stop right next to a horse racing track, but it isn't the terminal stop, and one end of the line is anchored by a LARGE city (Chicago).
Best of luck on your route.

Thanks Euphod,
The route is work in progress, and I am going to take in your suggestion and add another city at the end. Great suggestion!

What is the overall length?
jcurran,
As I said above, the route is stil work in progress, but about 15km long. I am going to extend and add another 3rd city. Also some extra stops.

Just off the top of my head, I think a route with high speed rail and traditional rail in the same corridor would be fun...and flexible! While the HSR could stop at only one or two of the stations along the route, (or none...depending on the distance between the cities), the slower rail (both commuter and freight) could make all stops, or several. It would be fun to have an HSR consist blow by as you shunted cars, or picked up passengers. When you were in the need for speed, you could just jump in the HSR instead.

Thanks Euphod,
Actually I have had added two more lines, a commuter and a freight line. The commuter line goes over the city road and at one point-on the triple rail bridge over the motorway-I have rigged it so all the trains blow their horns. Really cool when the first 3 test trains -all SD40-2's (UP)-blew their horns AT THE SAME TIME! Going to add some different trains for the actual line. What do you think I could add? Thiniking off creating the train on my signature on gmax.

here they are

Here are my villages from that website-Aldmoor,Eridege,Marshbarrow,Pinebarrow,Starrysage. Aldmoor station is called Aldmoor Market due to the the large village market. Could you name my cities though. Maybe the city sations too. A community is called North Trails. And a little Chinese called the Lotus Lounge.

For City's go for
Monkchester,
Swindon-on-Soar,
Lieham-Upon-Tyme.

As for station names, put things like Central, North, East, West, South or Parkway after the local village/town/cities name.

Regards.
